Details:
The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course is an Entry Level course for citizens who want to learn the safe, responsible and practical use of rifles.
Our students will learn the Rules of Safe Gun Handling, the mechanical operation of bolt action, semi-auto and pump action rifles, ammunition components, safe storage, rifle cleaning, the shooting fundamentals and develop basic marksmanship skills!
This class size is limited to 8 students and is conducted from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on the scheduled dates.
Requirements:
- Students Must be at least 18 years of age and legally own or possess a modern bolt action, lever action or semi automatic rifle with a shoulder stock.
- Students from 12 to 17 years of age can be registered and attend with a Parent (per person class fees apply)
- Safety glasses
- Ear muffs
- Box of 50 cartridges of the proper caliber for your rifle.
- If you do not already own a rifle you can use one of ours for this class!
